I was privileged to get the first interview promoting the great new Paramount + Documentary that tells the amazing, behind the scenes story of the creation of this groundbreaking TV moment.

Everything about Steve Binder’s career has been groundbreaking.

Mr. Binder is an American producer and director who has worked with a who’s who of legends like: Steve Allen, Soupy Sales, Chevy Chase, Diana Ross, Petula Clark, Harry Belafonte and so many others.

And then there is Elvis.

Spencer is making a return visit to Takin A Walk as he was a guest last year talking about his documentary about Don Mclean “The Day the Music Died” and I am so grateful he granted us the first interview to promote this project.

Steve Binder had a knack for connecting immediately with Elvis and building tremendous trust.

Mr. Binder also figured out pretty quickly that Elvis’s notorious manager Colonel Tom Parker was an evil and controlling force.
